I'm very grateful for my 5 month Israel experience in Maslul Ishi. It was a very meaningful time in my life and the warm and international Jewish atmosphere of the program not only changed
my Jewish and Israeli identity, but made me more open-minded.

My Maslul Ishi was full of interesting places and people. I volunteered for African refugees at the African Refugee Development Center (ARDC), where I began a project for children at the women's shelter. I also interned at the Itzhak Rabin Center as a tour guide for Russian speaking groups where I continued to work after making Aliyah. Above all this, during the program I also had time to study and did a course at PresenTense for developing social initiatives.

I feel that the most important part of my program was that I met amazing people from all over the world. Despite the fact that we spoke different languages and had absolutely different backgrounds, we became really good friends and spent an amazing time together!
